Sinem Vardar is project officer for Turkey and Greece in the European Union and North America Division. She studied B.A. Political Science and International Relations (Istanbul, Cairo) and M.A. Arabic Studies (Berlin, London) and wrote her master's thesis on public opinion on democratisation in Egypt and Tunisia. 



During her studies in Istanbul, she has worked in the field of educational reform and migration. After immigrating to Germany in 2014, she has gained further experience in Berlin in the field of social and economic inclusion and international youth exchange as well as in Brussels in the field of economic and financial diplomacy (at the European Commission).

In addition, she wrote book reviews for various Turkish newspapers and magazines and publishes poetry.
