Dr. Anja Reinalter has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2021 for the constituency of Biberach in Baden-Württemberg. In the Bundestag parliamentary group, she is part of the parliamentary group's executive committee as parliamentary director. She is a member of the Committee for Education, Research and Technology Assessment and is responsible for the topic of vocational education and training in the Green parliamentary group.

Since 2020, Anja Reinalter has been Professor of Social Work with a focus on youth work at Kempten University of Applied Sciences.

Until April 2022, she was First Chair of the Baden-Württemberg State Women's Council and until December 2021, she was a member of the state executive committee and women's policy spokesperson in the party council of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen Baden-Württemberg. She is a municipal councillor in the city of Biberach and a district councillor in the Biberach district council. In 2011, she was awarded the Helene Weber Prize for her honorary work in local politics.
