Here, at last

Just until recently green ideas were dismissed as luxury problems and found no political resonance in the Western Balkans. Politics, business, and the media in the region are often characterized by authoritarian, corrupt, and intransparent structures, which are summarized under the term "state capture. Now this has changed with the first Green mayors, city councilors, and members of local and national parliaments.
