Thiago Amparo is a law professor at the Getulio Vargas Foundation Law School (FGV), in São Paulo, Brazil. Amparo holds a Bachelor, Master and a PhD in law, specializing in discrimination law and in LGBTQIA+ rights. Amparo also writes weekly for Brazil's main newspaper, Folha de São Paulo.
